Biography
Dr. Georgia Cheirchanteri, was born in Athens, Greece. She has graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, Faculty of Architecture-Engineers, and from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, Greece, Department of Graphic Design.
She carried out postgraduate studies and researches, specialized in Visual Communication and has obtained a PhD in industrial Archaeology, both from the National Technological University of Athens (NTUA), School of Architecture.
She is a writer of three academic books and many scientific articles and worked as an Adjunct Lecturer and Laboratory Assistant in the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. From 2018, she works as a Lecturer at the University of West Attica, Faculty of Graphic Design and Visual Communication, obtaining the following cognitive object: “Architecture and Industrial Design applications in Graphic Design Communication”.
She has been, also, working as a freelance architect-engineer in in the preparation of various architectural projects and constructions, industrial buildings’ reuse, etc, in Greece and abroad, as well as a freelance graphic designer in many graphic projects.
