Biography

Anne Klammt is a member of the DARIAH-DE Coordination Office and a scientific coordinator of CLARIAH-DE at the Göttingen State and University Library.

Anne Klammt, who holds a doctorate in archaeology, has been working for many years on the archaeology of the Slavs and on research into landscape archaeology using geographical information systems. Her excavation, research and teaching activities have taken her to the universities of Hamburg, Greifswald, Göttingen and Regensburg as well as to Austria, Egypt, Poland and the Ukraine.

As managing director of the Mainz Centre for Digitality in the Humanities and Cultural Studies (2015-2019) she had campaigned for open data and cultural heritage with various events and was one of the local hosts of Coding Da Vinci Rhein-Main in 2018.
